My French Fairy Tale

As part of my final semester marks for my university beginner's French course, I created this little stop motion animation.

What fun it turned out to be doing something I have never done before and using language skills I didn't have in January!

La Princesse de l'Épée [The Princess of the Sword]
P.S. You'll need sound...

Hi Stace

I designed the story around the arbitrary props I had lying around the house.

The story goes (in short)...(also, please bear in mind a lot of the humour is lost in translation)...

Once upon a time, there lived a princess who liked to chop things with her sword. A prince arrived who had been watching her chop things from a distance. His name is: the Prince. His horse's name is: Luc. He suggests they get married and chop things together. So they do. And the princess is so happy because now they can chop things together. And then one day a beast comes to kill them all. The prince explains that in order to beat the beast, they must chop him together. So they do, and they win. And the animals shout: Hurrah! And they live happily ever after. Ah oui!
